When making pudding in the oven, the basic method is to put hot water under the pudding mold and bake it in a water bath, but if you use Chef's steam function, you don't have to go through the trouble of adding hot water.
Pudding is usually baked in a water bath in an oven at around 150°C for 20 to 30 minutes. If the temperature is too high, the pudding will not stick to the opening, and if the temperature is too low, it will not set. By using the Chef's steam function , it will heat at a stable temperature while emitting plenty of steam, so there is no chance of failure. At 100°C, which is lower than usual, you can create a pudding with a smooth texture.

Three-ingredient basic custard pudding

250cc milk
A little vanilla extract

How to make it

01.Be careful not to get burned!
When adding boiling water in step 1 (the process of making the caramel), it will splash, so be careful not to get burned.
02. Smooth to the touch
Once the pudding liquid has been "strained", it will end up with a smooth texture.
03. It's OK even if it's not a dedicated container
You can also make it in an enamel or glass container, so it's easy to make even if you don't have a special cup.
04. The secret to rich pudding <br/>Adding fresh cream will make it even richer. Try replacing 50cc of the 250cc of milk with fresh cream.
