Normally, to make the same dish, you would need three frying pans: chicken meatballs, tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), and carrots dressed with sesame and salt. With Chef, you can cook three dishes at once in just 15 minutes , saving you time. While the food is heating, you can prepare other dishes, such as rice or drinks, and there's less washing up to do.

Chef uses high heat from both the top and bottom heaters, so there's no need to flip the meatballs over, and they stay plump and juicy even when they cool. No oil is needed for cooking, making it a healthy option.

Chicken meatball bento

[Cooking time: 25 minutes]

■Ingredients (for 2 people)■
1) Chicken meatballs: 150g minced chicken
1/4 long green onion Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
★1/2 tablespoon mirin
1/3 sheet roasted seaweed

3) Edamame Omelette: 1 frozen edamame soybean (thawed) 15 pods 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon granulated Japanese soup stock
a little pepper

3) Carrots with sesame and salt 1/2 carrot Salt to taste 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Black sesame seeds (as needed)

4) Other: 4 cherry tomatoes, 2 shiso leaves, 2 servings of rice

How to make it

Add the minced chicken, chopped green onion, salt and pepper to a bowl and knead well. Divide into 4 equal parts, roll them into balls and top with squares of nori seaweed.

Keep the key points in mind and try applying them in various ways.

Stirring the omelet once during cooking allows it to cook evenly in a short amount of time. Adding mayonnaise keeps it moist even when it cools.

To prevent the carrots from becoming dry, coat them well in oil and remove them after 10 minutes .

If you open it once during cooking, the extra step of applying a second coat of chicken meatball sauce will give it an even shinier finish.
