When making French toast with Chef, we recommend using French bread instead of sliced bread . When you bake it in a frying pan, it gets a fluffy texture as the egg mixture soaks into it, but by baking it in the oven, you can enjoy both the crispy texture of French bread on the outside and the fluffy texture of French toast on the inside, soaked in the egg mixture.
Because it is baked with top and bottom heaters, there is no need to flip it over halfway through like when baking in a frying pan. Bread soaked in egg mixture becomes soft and easily crumbles, but since there is no need to flip it over, it bakes beautifully without crumbling.
While you're baking French toast, you can also cook soup and bacon at the same time. Simply pour cold milk and water into the soup pan and place it on the bottom shelf. After 15 minutes, you'll have a rich, milky soup. You can make a luxurious one-plate meal with just this one Chef.
While the food is baking, you can use the time effectively by getting ready or making coffee.
French toast one-plate brunch

・French toast 4 slices of French bread 1 egg 50cc of milk
2 teaspoons sugar
10g melted butter
・Milk soup corn can 30g
1 stalk of Komatsuna 100cc of milk
water 100cc
1 teaspoon granulated consommé
Pepper to taste 4 slices of half bacon

How to make it
- Beat the eggs and mix with the sugar, milk, and melted butter to make an egg wash. Let the French bread soak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Place komatsuna and corn cut into 2cm pieces in a heat-resistant container, then add milk, water, pepper, and granulated consommé.
- Place a baking sheet on a wire rack and place 1 on it. Place 2 on the mesh basket. Place the wire rack on the middle shelf and the mesh basket on the bottom shelf, and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes without steaming . After 5 minutes , add the bacon.
- Arrange each piece in a serving dish and add salad or yogurt to your liking, or drizzle maple syrup or honey over French toast to complete the dish.

If possible, let the egg mixture soak in overnight. This simple step will transform the toast into a sophisticated dish with the same flavor as restaurant-quality French toast!
Other recommended ingredients for milk soup include cherry tomatoes, spinach, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, and broccoli, which cook quickly.
If you add the bacon at the beginning, it will burn, so add it halfway through cooking.
