The limited edition "Essence Gold" of the hand-grinding mill "Essence Go," developed under the supervision of Hidenori Izaki, the world's top barista (*1), and which has been a best-seller since its release in June 2024 due to its high usability and finish, goes on sale today, November 18th.

While it inherits the features that have been well-received for its high usability from the "Essence Go," such as the 80-step grind adjustment that allows you to enjoy a wide variety of coffees, including espresso, drip coffee, and French press, the structure that allows you to easily adjust it using the dial on the handle without disassembly, and the magnetic powder cup that allows you to smoothly check the grind, the Italian-made mill blades that it is equipped with are the most important feature of this limited edition model.

After trying out all sorts of Italian blades, Izaki himself decided to use a six-blade mill from the long-established Italian manufacturer Italmill. Compared to the regular model "Essence Go," this mill effectively extracts the fine powder that is important for espresso, resulting in a rich, full-bodied espresso experience.

The overall design is a clean cream white with gold accents on the dial and other areas. The handle is made of a light wood material, and the finish is carefully crafted to allow users to enjoy the changes in its appearance as it acquires a richer and deeper texture with use.

Developed with special attention to detail, the "Essence Gold" will be produced in Japan in a limited run of 350 units.
